The functioning of voluntary fire protection in Ukraine is equal to the experience of the best European models of functioning. Thanks to joint efforts, several projects have already been implemented, which have significantly increased the level of fire safety in communities.
Over the past years of fruitful cooperation, two projects were successfully implemented in 2018-2020 by the Association of Voluntary Fire Brigades of the Republic of Poland with the financial support of U-LEAD with Europe and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, covering 44 communities from 9 regions of Ukraine (Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytsky, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Ternopil).
