Rescuers and village firefighters put out the fire in the farm building side by side
On January 18, at 10:38 a.m., the 101st Rescue Service received a report of a fire in a farm building in the village of Horaivka, Staroushytsya village territorial community of Kamyanets-Podilsky district, Khmelnytsky region.
Firefighters of the Kamyanets-Podilsky garrison and fighters of the local fire brigade of the village of Krushanivka were immediately sent to the scene.
At the time of the units' arrival, an outbuilding on an area of 140 sq.m. was on fire. It was also found that there were three units of tractor equipment inside.
Assessing the situation, SES emergency workers and village firefighters immediately began extinguishing, which was complicated by heavy smoke and heavy fire.
The fire was extinguished at 10:58, and further spread of the fire was prevented. The probable cause of the fire is a short circuit. There were no injuries or deaths at the scene. In total, 4 units of fire and rescue equipment and 10 rescuers were involved in the firefighting.
