Ivano-Frankivsk region: training camp of young rescuers "Bukovets" has started in Verkhovyna region
In the village of Bukovets in the Verkhovyna region, the winter training camp for young rescuers "Bukovets" has started. About 100 children aged 10 to 18 from different regions of Ukraine came to Prykarpattia.
In the period from 9 to 13 January this year, rescuers of the Specialized Search and Rescue Unit of the Emergency Rescue Detachment of the Main Directorate of the SES in the region will hold workshops with participants, training sessions and competitions to practice elements of techniques and tactics of mountain climbing, equipment movement on snow; search and rescue operations in the area of avalanches; transportation of the victim by means of improvised means; providing home care for injuries, hypothermia and frostbite.
The main motto of the student "School of Security": "Know to anticipate, anticipate to act." Therefore, the program of such training meetings is aimed primarily at promoting a healthy lifestyle, education of patriotism, spirituality, morality and the formation of universal values in the younger generation; physical development of youth, acquisition of knowledge on the basics of civil protection, applied physical and health care and promotion of the profession of rescuer.
