Another local fire brigade was officially opened in Zakarpattia
Starting from the new year, 12 settlements of the Syurtivka territorial community in the Uzhhorod region will be even better protected from fire. After all, here in the village. Mali Geivtsi officially opened the first local fire brigade in the district today. The event was attended by the head of the Transcarpathian rescuers Roman Gudak, the deputy of the regional council Mykhailo Laba, the head of the Uzhhorod Regional State Administration Radio Kishtulinets and the head of the territorial community Arpad Pushkar.
The team will consist of 4 full-time drivers who will receive salaries from the community budget, and about 40 volunteer firefighters who will arrive at the scene of the fire on call. To eliminate the fires, they will use the ZIL-130 tank truck provided to them by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Zakarpattia Oblast. During the celebrations, Roman Gudak noted the courage of the people who decided to become volunteers, and wished them fewer trips to emergencies.
